Just north of Frisco, in the coveted ‘Golden Corridor’, Celina is open for business! The City of Celina was named the 8th fastest growing city in the Dallas Metroplex by the US Census and North Texas Council of Governments Research and Information Services. A wholesome, country lifestyle, the excellent school system, and the warm, friendly community of Celina have enticed hundreds of families. And with a trade population of approximately 69,000 per the last census, business are also finding Celina an ideal location.
There are many opportunities for those wanting land to build or a find a home in one of its established residential communities. New home developments continue to break ground as well. In spite of all the growth that is transforming this long-established farming community into a thriving Dallas area suburb, the schools are still small, the neighbors neighborly and the Mayor still knows everybody.
The historic downtown hosts an authentic square that serves as the community center for events and activities. Whether it’s an Easter egg hunt, a Christmas tree lighting or the Fun Day festival in September, these gatherings provide the opportunity to know the neighbors and build upon the sense of community that makes Celina a special place. Another favorite gathering place is Old Celina Park, where softball, baseball and soccer are full time entertainment in the spring, summer and fall for all ages. Tournaments every weekend attract people and children from all over Texas and Oklahoma.
Every fall season, the community rallies around the Celina Bobcats, who have earned eight Football State Championships for 3A districts in Texas. The Celina ISD is comprised of three communities: Celina, Anna and Weston. In addition to an extensive honors and advanced placement curriculum, the District offers a gifted and talented program for all grade levels and the option of graduating with a Distinguished Achievement diploma.
When residents want to get away – Frisco, McKinney and Denton are all within a 30 minute drive for shopping, theater and dining.

About Erica Taylor
About me. I am originally from Bryan/College Station and moved to Dallas in 1999. I have been in the customer service industry since the age of 14 and a hairdresser for the past 19 years. My love for people has helped my extended family grow by leaps and bounds through my clientele, some of which I have been taking care of for 15+ years. By listening to their needs and wants I am able to go above and beyond to give them exactly what they want or creating a win-win situation. Because of this I know I will stand out from the other realtors.
When I am not out selling or buying a home my husband, 8 year old son, and 2 labs enjoy the outdoors. Whether it is at a soccer game, cooking out, or just hanging out with the n eighbor kids we are always out and about.
